A Service Company
The Enterprise-Courier, Inc. was founded in 1874.

The late Art L. Wallhausen, Sr. purchased The Enterprise-Courier from Simon P. Leobe in 1936.

Art L. Wallhausen, Jr. became Managing Editor after his father's death in 1969. Mildred Wallhausen became Publisher at the same time and continues as Publisher today.

In 1979 Jim and Liz Anderson moved to Mississippi County from California to join the staff on The Enterprise-Courier.

They purchased the newspaper in the 1980's.
